Project
For the next few weeks you will be working on a Civil War project of a topic of your choice. Please be aware that only one person will be allowed to research a specific topic. Topic selection will be done on a first come first served basis. You are to choose a topic, do research on it, and create a tri-fold tabletop display about your project. You will also have to have a presentation about your topic to explain it to visitors to your table.
Parent Letter - The first activity you have to complete is a letter to your parents explaining your topic. A template for that letter is below. Please make two copies of the letter, one for them to keep and one to be signed and returned to me.
Daily Progress Journal - This is a daily accounting of what you are doing on you project. You should include information about you accomplishments in class and those done outside of class. Due - at the beginning of class every Friday.
Project Write-Up - This is a one-page summary of what you learned about your topic. This will become part of your display. Due Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
Complete Bibliography - This is a complete list of all sources that you used for your project, including graphics. You must use MLA format to complete this and use Citation Machine. Remember that the bibliography must be in alphabetic order. Entries that begin with numbers should come before those beginning with letters. Due Tuesday, February 4, 2014
